Lil Mitch born Erriton Demon Williams was born in Lake Village Arkansas to the late LaJewell Lattimore on December 16th 1989. Erriton first discovered his love of music at a young age. It was at the age of three he began lessoning to rap music. The first group he heard was NWA. He loved to hear Easy E and Ice Cube. As he grew older at about four he began to focus more on R&B. Although he couldn’t sing he loved the power in the music. His favorite R&B artist at the time was Keith Sweat.
In May of 1997 his mother died and he moved to St.Louis to live with his father Edward Williams. By this time he had started to make his own music. By the age of seven years old he was rapping and beat boxing. He began to enter freestyle battles at school with the older students, most at lease two years older then him because no one his age was really into music. As he progressed in rapping he began to lesson to Twista. After hearing a style he had heard before but never focused on he began to tongue twist.
In the summer of 1998 Erriton visited his hometown and reconnected with his childhood friends, Stax and A Dezzy. To his surprise they had also started rapping. As soon as they all came together Erriton was in his first rap group. They called the group Capital Hood. By the end of the summer Erriton went back to St. Louis to return to school.
When Erriton got back in Saint Louis he begin to hear talk about a new artist from Saint Louis named Nelly. It was Nelly’s music the made Erriton realize that gangster rap is not the only style of rapping. Nelly had a style no one had ever heard and he made music that the ladies loved.
In 2000 Erriton began producing his own music. He was making mix tapes, he didn’t write much because when he’d freestyle it sounded like it was wrote. He released about two mix tapes a month. At this time he went by Bishop Tussal. By the end of 2002 he broke up with Capital Hood. He stopped recording and focused on school. It was at Moline Elementary he showed his skills in show and tells. Soon his teacher asked him to write a song about a social studies assignment to help the students understand. He put it together so well the whole class passed. It was then he began to write his music.
In 2003 he was back to battling. He went against Grind Up Record artist Ludy who’s uncle Barbra shop was right across the street from his house.
When he began high school in 2004 he befriended a St. Louis group called Bash Em’ City. Erriton was the top producer. He didn’t rap because the group was only focused on bringing one artist out named Lucky. Another thing was that their style of music was gangster rap. He worked with them for about three years. By late 2007 Erriton realized he would be better as a rapper, he made one song called “Ms. Lady“. Because the song didn’t meet the standards of the gangster rap group. He announced that he would be leaving the group to pursue his carrier. Not long after that the whole group broke up.
In early 2008 Erriton joined Bash Em’ Citys other star Producer “Nightmare` to form Track Dreamz Productions. After about four month Erriton moved back to Arkansas to be with his grandmother. Although he only stayed for a six months he recorded six CD with his old friends A Dezzy and Stax. When he came back to St. Louis he had a new view of gangster music and commercial music. He soon began his solo carrier.
Erriton “Lil Mitch” Williams makes music that can be called real music. Most of his music are directed to the ladies because although he don’t sing he’s found a way to send the same massage that a R&B singer would. He also focuses his music on real life situations.
Erriton “Lil Mitch” Williams is next generation of hip hop and is prepared to go to the extreme to bring good music back to the world step by step.
