Project 1804 (pronounced Project eighteen-O-four) are the creators of what they are heralding as Hybrid Music. The band perfectly blends Rock, Hip-Hop, and R&B to create a new sound. Each genre is perfectly represented not only lyrically but instrumentally as well.
The name PROJECT 1804 comes from the year their Haitian ancestors freed themselves as slaves, becoming the first black nation to declare their independence. They take that same fire and apply it to their music careers, they refuse to accept that being who they are ethnically, should boogle them down to do music a certain way. They are looking to break the mold on what people expect from black artist.
