More Artist Details

The first members of the band got together in august 2009. Dejan(vocalist), Ljubomir(ex drummer) and Strahinja(bassist) were looking for a guitar player. Aleksandar (ex guitarist) was invited to join the band. The style was pretty undefined, but the band was working on some original stuff. About a month later Marko(guitarist) joined the band and started to give shape to what's about to become Black Deck. The band played their first show on October 4th 2009. at a local GBOB band competition. That first gig won us a 4th place.
After that, the band was working on some new stuff, and soon, did another gig. Already on December 30th of the same year, just before New Year's Eve, Black Deck had a second show. We played with the band New Mythology. The show was at the club Route66 in Novi Sad.
The club liked out playing and we did a couple more shows there with other bands.
On January 29th 2010. the band did a gig at club Auris with the band Omnia. Later on March 19th 2010. we played in club Dvoriste with two bands, Pry and Monera.
We had a few more gigs at club Route66 and after that Ljubomir and Aleksandar leave the band for different reasons.
It didn't stop the band in it's creative work, because Nikola(guitarist) and Antonio(drummer) joined the band. The two new members brought new emotions and a heavier sound to the band. Finally we could start defining our style.
We had our next gig at a motofest in Palic on June 4th 2010. and the new crew was getting along great. We continued working on new songs and we could feel the influences coming together. Styles like metalcore, deathcore, heavy metal, hardcore and progressive metal were coming together to form our unique sound.
The band recorded their first demo track on June 30th 2010. called Mind Rape and it reminds us of some Pantera songs.
We continue to work on our songs and play gigs anywhere we can.
